WAJIB BACA !!! BERITA TERKINI ISU LAHAD DATU : RAKYAT HARUS TAHU : NEGARA UNCLE 'SAM' TUNJUK MINAT :

PEMBANGKANG KEGEMBIRAAN ' AMERIKA' DAH  AMBIL TAHU. BERITA TERKINI  DARI MANILA BULLETIN

Assalammualaikum

Obama Brokering Bid To End Sabah Crisis?

Is United States President Barack Obama the Western leader behind a "secret diplomatic effort" to end the month-long Sabah standoff?
"Yes," the Sultanate of Sulu confirmed yesterday.
Abraham J. Idjirani, spokesman of the sultanate, said Obama had a meeting with Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah at the White House in Washington, DC, on Tuesday.
"President Obama wanted to know from His Majesty Sultan Bolkiah the true history of North Borneo, now Sabah," he said.
When the Brunei leader returned, Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman was invited for a meeting in the Muslim kingdom, said Idjirani.
But when Aman returned to his country, he announced in a press conference that Malaysia will not accept a third party to solve the Sabah standoff.
Idjirani likewise said Pastor "Boy" Saycon, the sultanate's adviser, also revealed the information to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Friday when NBI agents interviewed him.
Saycon has been a friend for 16 years and an adviser to Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, while lawyer Leonard De Vera has volunteered to help in the sultanate's expected legal battles.
It was Saycon, said Idjirani, who informed the Sulu sultanate about the Obama-Bolkiah meeting based on what his (Saycon) reliable sources told him.
Last Friday, Idjirani revealed the so-called secret diplomatic effort to peacefully resolve the fighting between the sultanate's followers and Malaysian military and police forces.
Idjirani also said Rajah Muda Agbimuddin Kiram and 116 of his Royal Security Forces are still in Sabah, Malaysia, contrary to Malaysian government claims that he has already abandoned his men for the Philippines.
"The rajah muda called me up at 6 a.m. today (Saturday). He told me: 'Show what SIM card I am using,"' said Idjirani.
So, it is not true the rajah muda had abandoned his followers.
Another report reaching Tawi-Tawi said the raja muda and about 35 of his gunmen, some of them
wounded, reportedly landed Friday night at a small island called Maldanas in Sitangkai.
But senior officials of the Naval Forces and of the Tawi-Tawi Provincial Crisis Management Council (PCMC) and proceeded yesterday morning to Maldanas island to "verify" the report.
On March 5, Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Sri Najib Tun Razak ordered a massive offensive against the rajah muda and members of the Royal Security Force (RSF).
But so far, there is still no end in sight of the conflict triggered by the sultanate's claim over Sabah in Malaysia.
As this developed, the sultanate's spokesman confirmed that 35 of the people intercepted Wednesday by the Philippine Navy in the country's waters are rajah muda's men.
The head of the 35 RSF men, Datu Panglima Sabandal Eddie Idris, told Idjirani that only 11 of them were charged by the government for illegal possession of firearms, violation of the election gun ban, and inciting to war

"But those who do not have charges have decided not to get out of their detention at the Philippine Navy station in Panglima Sugala, Tawi-Tawi," Idjirani quoted Idris as saying.
Meanwhile, a faction of cooler heads in the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) appealed for sobriety and prudence among Muslim sectors critical of the Sabah issue, saying that emotional comments would rather aggravate animosity among Malaysians and Filipinos.
Muslimin Sema, incumbent Cotabato City vice mayor and chair of the mainland Mindanao-based MNLF faction, said issuing hostile comments, based on "emotions and not on reason," is affront to the popular calls for peaceful settlement of the Sabah crisis, and will only worsen the miseries of Filipinos amid the sporadic fighting between followers of Kiram III and the Malaysian Armed Forces.
Sema also denied reports that MNLF combatants had gone to Sabah to support the violent efforts of Kiram's followers in claiming rich island state.
"Those reports are not true. The MNLF has a peace agreement with the national government. We in the MNLF will not embark on anything that will imperil lives in Sabah, regardless of whether they are Muslim or non-Muslim," Sema said.
Sema said he is supportive of the Malacañang's call on the Malaysian government to look into reports of indiscriminate rounding up by its police and military troops of residents with Filipino-sounding names. (Nonoy E. Lacson and Ali G. Macabalang)

Sabah Not For Sale--Kiram
Manila Bulletin – Tue, Mar 19, 2013

Abraham Idjirani, spokesman of the sultanate, said Sunday that during meetings of the Punjungan siblings, they often bring out their hardships in life.
But they have not raised the issue of selling the territory, he said.
Idjirani said that at one time, Malaysia offered US$3.2 billion to the Punjungan children to buy Sabah.
It did not happen because no one agreed, he said.
